MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088304 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'adaptable trailer covering device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rajneesh Tyagi.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable trailer covering device, comprising, rectangular frame 1 developed to be installed on a top portion of a trailer, multiple suction cups 2 are attached with frame 1 for affixing with the top portion in order to mount the frame 1 on trailer, an imaging unit 3 installed capturing and processing images of trailer to determines dimension of trailer, a sensing module installed on frame 1 for detecting presence of rain along with intensity of wind blowing in vicinity to trailer, a motorized hinge joint 4 configured with an inverted U-shaped bar 5 attached with frame 1 for deploying a sheet 7 over trailer in order to cover complete length of trailed loaded with goods."
