MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013280 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'adaptable wall mounting assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Amrita Chaudhary.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable wall mounting assistive device comprises a T-shaped frame 1 developed to be mounted on a wall surface via multiple suction units 2, a circular plate 3 having multiple extendable mounting arms 4 that enables the user for placing multiple auxiliary frames, a motorized circular sliding unit 5 for orienting the engaged auxiliary frames in a symmetric pattern, a microphone 6 that enables the user to input voice command regarding the change in position of the auxiliary frames, a motorized ball and socket joint 7 for orienting the auxiliary frames according to the user-specified deviation, and multiple extendable L-shaped bar 9 configured with multiple color pens 8 for marking points in proximity to each of the auxiliary frames in a manner to assist the user in installation of wall mounts to hang the auxiliary frames."
