MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023512 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'adaptable wind-blade carrier device for vehicles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable wind-blade carrier device for vehicles, comprising a frame 1 having plurality of platforms 2 positioned on a ground surface and connected by means of multiple interconnected hydraulically operated links 3, a rectangular plate 4 integrated on each of the platform 2 for accommodating a wind blade on the plates 4 and adhered by plurality of suction units 5, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 determines dimensions of wind blade, a hydraulically operated rod 7 extends/retracts for maintaining evaluated angle, plurality of motorized wheels 8 moves frame 1 along with vehicle, a motorized bearing arrangement 9 provide required movement to plates 4 for arranging accommodated wind blade and accordingly links 3 to extend/retract for arranging platforms 2 in a curved configuration on turn, thereby assisting user in transporting wind blades."
