MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020769 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adaptable wrestling arena system.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable wrestling arena system, comprising a rectangular elevated platform 1 positioned on a ground surface and configured with plurality of vertical bars 2, multiple set of parallel ropes 3 and multiple motorized turnbuckles 4 arranged on each of the bars 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 detects average height of the wrestlers within the arena, a motorized sliding unit 6 translates the turnbuckles 4 along the sliding unit 6 in view of modifying height of height ropes 3, multiple weight sensors detects weight of wrestlers present inside the ring, an electromagnetic spring adjusts length of the turnbuckles 4, multiple pressure sensors monitors impact of the wrestler on the platform 1, an air inflating unit 7 inflates an inflatable member 8, a gesture detection sensor detects hand gestures made by the wrestler, and a sensing module detects vital health parameters of the wrestlers along."
