MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054907 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on June 6, for 'additional device and electronic device including same.'
Inventor(s) include Park, Jonggyu; Yang, Sungkwang; Yang, Hyunmo; Yoon, Jongmin; and Lim, Gisoo.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an additional device configured to enable a wearable device to be mounted thereto and/or an electronic device including same may include a first support part and cradling frames extending from the first support part to be parallel to each other. In an embodiment, the cradling frames may receive a corresponding one of wearable frames of the wearable device, so that a display part of the wearable device may be disposed to be adjacent to the first support part. Various other embodiments may be possible."
