MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537102212 A) filed by Tokuyama Corporation, Yamaguchi, Japan, on Oct. 23, for 'adhesive composition, cured body, laminate, optical article, lens, and spectacles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an adhesive composition enabling the formation of an adhesive layer having excellent functionality, a cured body thereof, a laminate, an optical article, a lens, and spectacles. One embodiment of the present invention provides an adhesive composition. The adhesive composition contains a polyurethane urea resin and an organic solvent. The polyurethane urea resin has a urea bond, a urethane bond, and a structure represented by formula (I). In formula (I), R1 and R2 are each independently a linear alkylene group having 3 or more and 10 or less carbon atoms. l is 0 or 1 or more and 25 or less. n and m are each independently 2 or more and 70 or less."
