MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024071 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'adjustable animal-rescue assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Karan Gupta; and Dr. Prateek Verma.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable animal-rescue assistive device, comprising a frame having a pair of extendable bars 1, a pair of handles 2 fabricated on bars 1 accessed by a user to be position frame on a fixed surface in proximity to a cavity where an animal is stuck, multiple suction cups 3 arranged underneath bars 1 adheres to surface for affixing frame on surface, an imaging unit 4 installed on frame determines depth of cavity, a pair of telescopically operated rods integrated on bars 1 gets positioned in cavity, a LiDAR sensor determines position of animal, a rectangular meshed structure 5 via a telescopically operated pole 6 in proximity to animal, a pair of motorized sliding units 7 translates structure 5, a motion sensor determines steadiness of animal, and multiple motorized hinges 8 moves plate 9 arranged on each of hinges 8."
