MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018884 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'adjustable axle bearing removal device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sunil Kumar; and Dr. Shiv Bharat Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable axle bearing removal device, comprising a frame 1 having a circular disc 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determines dimensions of an axle and bearing, an expandable pulley arrangement integrated on disc 2 which expands/contracts disc 2, at least three hollow rods 5 are arranged underneath disc 2 each by means of a curved motorized sliding unit which translates the rods 5 to orient rods 5 over bearing, a screw 7 assembled within each of rods 5 which rotates moves in downward direction such that rods 5 gets inserted in spacing of the bearing, a motorized ball and socket joint 8 is integrated in between sliding unit and rods 5 which tilt rods 5 to engage tip of screws 7 in the spacing of the bearing, and an extendable bar 9 extends for applying a force on axle which leads to pulling of bearing from axle."
