MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005478 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'adjustable bags storage device.'
Inventor(s) include Prabhjot Kaur; Nidhi; and Rini Saxena.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable bags storage device encompasses a U-shaped frame 1 designed for mounting on a fixed surface for accommodating bags, where the frame 1 features an AI-based imaging unit 2 to determine dimensions of a handle of accommodated bags, at the apex of the frame 1, a pair of two telescopic curved links 3 are equipped with motorized hinges, which extends to create loops for securing bag handles, a plate 4 at the base of frame 1 supports the bags, while a weight sensor monitors their weight and a speaker 5 installed on the frame 1 emits audio alerts, reminding users to check bags for any items inside to prevent spoilage or loss."
