MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020674 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adjustable barricading device.'
Inventor(s) include Jayanta Kumar Mahato; Shivani Sharma; Gargi Chaudhary; and Preeti Garg.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable barricading device, comprising plurality of C-shaped frame 1 each configured with multiple rods 2 for providing support to frame 1, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 evaluates a 3D mapping of surroundings that is displayed on a touch interactive display panel 5 for displaying an evaluated mapping for allowing user to select portion that user desired to barricade for actuating wheels 3 for positioning frames 1 in appropriate orientation, a motorized roller 6 rotating on its axis to unwind a meshed sheet, followed by actuation of a pair of telescopically operated clamps 7 for gripping and extending to deploy sheets towards other frames 1, the microcontroller directs clamps 7 for gripping other frame 1 for successful barricade user specified portion."
