MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010737 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'adjustable bottle sealing device.'

Inventor(s) include Kul Bhushan Anand.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable bottle sealing device, comprising a frame 1 having a disc 2 developed to be engaged on mouth portion of a bottle which is to be sealed, an ultrasonic sensor integrated on the disc 2 for determining dimensions of mouth portion, an expandable pulley arrangement 3 integrated on the disc 2 to expand disc 2 in a manner to get accommodated on mouth portion of bottle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on peripheral portion of disc 2 and integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple surrounding images, respectively to determine dimensions of opening of bottle and an inflatable bag 5 engaged with disc 2 and passes through center of disc 2 to fill compressed air within bag 5 to inflate bag 5 which blocks bottle's opening leading to sealing of bottle."
