MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024135 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'adjustable concrete pipe painting device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable concrete pipe painting device, comprises of a body 1 developed to be positioned inside a concrete pipe, an artificial intelligence- imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images to determine diameter of inside of pipe, plurality of telescopically operated rods 3 arranged on body 1 to get extended for establishing support to body 1 inside pipe, a dust sensor 1 for detecting presence of dust, plurality of rotatable brushes 4 by means of multiple extendable links 5 to extend for positioning brushes 4 in contact with inner periphery, a plate 6 assembled body 1 by means of telescopically operated bar 7 for positioning plate 6 with tough dirt/algae deposition, multi-sectioned chamber 9 each integrated with an electronically controlled nozzle 10 to dispense user-specified color, a rotatable air blower to blow air for blow drying paint, a color sensor for monitoring portion of inner periphery which is painted."
