MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020743 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 19, 2024, for 'adjustable face lifting assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ankur Singhal; Dr. Deepak Dhadwal; and Yash Pratap Singh Chauhan.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable face lifting assistive device that comprises of a facial mask 1 developed to be worn by a user on the user's face, a motorized roller 2 coiled with a looped strap 3 to unwrap/wrap the strap 3 over the user's back portion of head for affixing the mask 1 on the user's face, a pressure sensor to determine pressure applied by the strap 3 on the user's head, an imaging unit 4 for capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity of the mask 1, a multiple flexible plates 5 integrated with multiple cavities 6 designed to be overlapped on the portions and multiple motorized hinges 7 integrated in between the plates 5 to cover the user's face, a microphone 8 to provide voice input specifications regarding face-lifting of the user's face, and an ultrasonic sensor to determine thickness of skin of the user's face."
