According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an adjustable footrest (126) of a vehicle (100). The adjustable footrest includes a shaft (214), a rider foot support (216), and an actuator (218). The shaft includes a first end (220), a second end (302), and a middle portion (308). The middle portion is configured with one or more slot members (310). The middle portion is housed in an opening (402) located at a distal portion (206) of a bottom frame structure (112) of the vehicle. The rider foot support is mounted to the first end and the second end. The rider foot support is adapted to receive the foot of a rider. Further, the actuator is provided at the distal portion of the bottom frame structure. The actuator is configured to selectively engage with the one or more slot members while the shaft is rotatably operated to adjust a position of the adjustable footrest."
