MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311084452 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 11, 2023, for 'adjustable goods loading and unloading device.'
Inventor(s) include Sarbpreet Kaur; Pradeep Kumar Jindal; and Sajjan Singh.
The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable goods loading and unloading device, characterizes a platform 1 with multiple wheels 2, positioned over ground surface, a mechanical clamp 3 attached to the platform 1, engaged with towing hook on a vehicle, a display panel 5 mounted on platform 1 enabling user to select operation details, while selecting the loading operation, pair of hydraulic bars 6 arranged on platform 1 for pushing an inverted U-shaped frame 7 away from vehicle, lifting and moving a container 8 attached to bars 6, an AI-based imaging unit 10 mounted on platform 1 to determine positioning of goods on the surface, multiple hinge joints on the container 8, are actuated to open flaps, revealing container 8 openings, pair of telescopic poles 11 configured with motorized clamps 12 for gripping and loading the goods onto container 8 and finally, the bars 6 retract to load the container 8 on the platform 1."
