MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023510 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'adjustable infant securing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable infant securing device, comprising a frame 1 accessed by a user for engaging the on sides an infant lying on an even surface, a pair of motorized rollers 2 are integrated on the frame 1 that are positioned on lateral sides of the infant for supporting the infant on the surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on the frame 1 to determine dimensions of the infant, plurality of telescopically operated links 4 integrated on the rollers 2 to extend/retract for establishing a boundary on lateral sides of the infant in view of restricting movement of the infant while infant is sleeping and plurality of motorized wheels 5 arranged underneath the rollers 2 for moving the rollers 2 as per the infant's orientation on the surface in order to provide comfort to the infant while the infant is asleep."
