MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010068 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'adjustable lighting device for two-wheeler.'

Inventor(s) include Arvind Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable lighting device for two-wheeler, comprises of a plate 1 utilize to installed on a handle of a two-wheeler vehicle, a touch sensor mapped underneath the plate 1 for detecting placement of the plate 1 on the handle, at least two C-shaped clamps 2 arranged underneath the plate 1 for gripping the handle in order to mount the plate 1 on the handle, a LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) 3 mapped on the plate 1 for detecting intensity of light in vicinity to the plate 1 during movement of the vehicle on a road surface, an angle sensor mapped on the plate 1 for detecting angle of the vehicle while turning over the surface, and an imaging unit synced with an ultrasonic sensor installed on the plate 1 for detecting presence of any obstacle moving towards the vehicle along with distance between the obstacle and vehicle."
