MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018181 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'adjustable multi-utility kitchen device for physically impaired.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A adjustable multi-utility kitchen device for physically impaired, comprising a platform 1on a ground surface, multiple rods 2 for providing support to the platform 1on the ground surface, a suction cup for securing the platform 1on the surface, a touch interactive display panel 4 for enabling user to input details regarding mode of operation of device, multiple pneumatic pins 5 for extending around base portion to secure bottle on the platform, a motorized slider 6 for providing movement to a flap 7 to position the flap 7 adjacent to the bottle, multiple motorized hinge joints 8 for providing movement to bend the flap 7 around the bottle, an AI-based imaging unit 9 for capturing multiple images of the bottle, a robotic link 10 for positioning a motorized iris lid 11 over the bottle's cap and multiple motorized spherical members 12 for revolving to adjust proper alignment of an eatable."
