MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019324 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'adjustable nut removal device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable nut removal device, comprises of a frame having a primary plate 1 installed with a spherical-shaped member 2 for unfastening a nut from a bolt, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 for capturing and processing multiple images in the vicinity of the frame and determining the dimensions of the nut, a secondary plate 4 translates along primary plate 1 through motorized slider 5, an angle sensor for monitoring the angle of the nut, a V-shaped unit 6 configured with multiple teeth 7 to properly grip the nut, a semi-circular sliding rail for applying rotational motion to unfasten the nut from the bolt, a corrosion detection sensor for detecting the presence of rust on nuts and bolts, a chamber 8 stored with an anti-rust solution and configured with electronically controlled nozzle 9 for spraying the solution onto the nut and bolt."
