MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020697 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adjustable object lifting device.'
Inventor(s) include Varun Bansal; Mamta Bansal; Rajesh Pandey; and Rajiv Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable object lifting device, comprising a telescopic frame 1 held by a user by means of handle 4, an inverted U-shaped member 5 attached to second portion 3, in proximity to an object that user desires to lift, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 6 detects a portion of object from which object is required to be lifted and synchronously microcontroller actuates frame 1 for extending to position member 5 over detected portion, a laser sensor detecting dimension of object for actuating a motorized hinge joint 7 for providing movement to member 5, a pair of inverted L-shaped telescopic rods 8 extend for holding objects by means of suction units 9, a touch sensor for detecting gripping of object by member 5 in order to retract frame 1 to lift object upto pre-defined height."
