MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019363 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'adjustable object loading and carrying assistive device for four wheelers.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Vinesh Kumar; and Dr. Achal Kiran.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable object loading and carrying assistive device for four wheelers, comprises a U-shaped frame 1 developed to be mounted on a four wheelers cart, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity to the frame determining the dimensions of the cart, multiple telescopically operated rods 3 to extend/retract for acquiring compatible dimensions to get properly attached on the cart, a pair of L-shaped bars 4 and hydraulic actuators 5 are arranged for reclining the bars in a downward direction as determined by the user, an ultrasonic sensor 6 for monitoring the dimensions of the objects, a flap 7 arranged with multiple hinges 8 for gripping the objects, a speaker 9 synced with the imaging unit for producing audio notifications to alert the driver, and a laser measurement sensor 10 for monitoring distance of approaching vehicles."
