MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020784 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adjustable open wiring insulating device.'

Inventor(s) include Umesh Kumar Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable open wiring insulating device that comprises of a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, the body 1 is installed with an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the body 1, ultrasonic sensor integrated in the body 1 for monitoring distance of the determined location from the body 1, multiple motorized wheels 3 arranged underneath the body 1 for moving the body 1, pair of robotic arms 11 installed on the body 1 for acquiring a grip, motorized gripper 6 is arranged on the body 1 for positioning a blade 7 integrated on the gripper 6 in proximity to the gripped wire, laser measurement sensor integrated on the body 1 for monitoring length of the stripped wire, motorized roller 9 arranged on the body 1 by means of a motorized circular sliding unit 10 for unwrapping an adhesive tape."
