MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005471 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'adjustable pattern drawing device for road surface.'
Inventor(s) include Vineet Pandey; and Anshu Tomar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable pattern drawing device for road surface includes a frame 1 having a first and second portion 2, 3, a seat-post of a bicycle is accommodated via a member 4 attached with first portion 2 detected via a laser sensor, a first joint 5 integrated within member 4 secures seat-post, ultrasonic sensor detects distance between seat-post and ground accordingly frame 1 extends to position an attached plate 6 over ground, an imaging unit 7 determines presence of debris, a first gripper 8 picks and dispose debris into a compartment 9, a second gripper 12 arranged on plate 6 withdraws a chalk from chamber 10 and inserts inside a body 13 arranged on plate 6, a lid arranged inside body 13 grips chalk, a display panel 17 to input a pattern to be drawn accordingly joint 15 arranged between plate 6 and frame 1 actuates for drawing pattern on surface."
