MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024654 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'adjustable pipe carrying assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Shubham Kumar; and Krishan Kumar Yadav.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable pipe carrying assistive device, comprising a body 1 positioned on ground surface, plurality of wheels 2 moves the body 1 over the surface, plurality of U-shaped slots 3 enables the user to place pipes on the slots 3, an imaging unit 4 captures images of the body 1 to determine dimension of pipes, a drawer arrangement 5 extend/retract to increase the dimensions of each of slots 3 to accommodate the pipes, plurality of suction units 6 adhere accommodated pipes securely in the slots 3, a hook 7 fastened to the coupling unit of vehicle for transporting the body 1 along with the vehicle, a LiDAR sensor monitors distance of the body 1 from the vehicle, a braking unit apply brakes to wheels 2, accelerometer monitors directions of the wheels 2, an angle sensor monitors inclination angle of body 1, LED lights 8 prevent accidents by indicating determined directions."
