MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018875 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'adjustable pipeline insulation device.'
Inventor(s) include Aishwary Awasthi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable pipeline insulation device, comprising of a frame having a primary platform 1 positioned on a surface installed with an imaging unit 2 for capturing surrounding images, a display panel 3 arranged on primary platform 1 for allowing a user to select pipeline length, multiple wheels 4 arranged underneath the frame for maneuvering the primary platform 1, an ultrasonic sensor integrated on primary platform 1 for determining pipeline height, a scissor arrangement 6 for raising primary platform 1, a motorized first roller coiled with insulating sheet 7 arranged on primary platform 1 for unwrapping sheet, a pair of robotic arms 8 arranged on primary platform 1 for positioning the sheet on the pipe, a motorized second roller wrapped with a thread 9 assembled on primary platform 1 for unwrapping the thread and a cutting blade 10 arranged on the primary platform 1 to cut sheet and thread."
