MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020787 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adjustable pole vaulting training system.'
Inventor(s) include Yash Chandra Gangwar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable pole vaulting training system that comprises of a platform 1 having a first and second portion, wherein a touch interactive display panel 2 installed on the first portion that is actuated by an inbuilt microcontroller for enabling a user to provide input specifications regarding a user-desired height of a crossbar 4, a pair of telescopically operated rods 3 are mounted on the second portion for positioning a crossbar 4 integrated in between the rods 3, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 installed on the platform 1 for capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity of the frame, and a weight sensor embedded on the track to determine weight of the user and a track pad 6 mapped on the first portion for enabling a user to accommodate the user's feet on the track."
