MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018209 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'adjustable post insulin administration nursing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable post insulin administration nursing device comprises of C-shaped telescopic frame 1 positioned on patient's hand, pair of straps 2 attached with frame 1 for securing frame 1 on the patient's hand, a LiDAR sensor installed on frame 1 for detecting thickness of the hand and actuates the frame 1 for extending to properly accommodate hand, a pressure sensor installed on frame 1 for detecting pressure applied on user's hand, multiple telescopic links 3 assembled on frame 1 to press hand by means of a plate 4 attached with the links 3, an AI-based imaging unit 5 mounted on frame 1 for capturing images of surrounding of that frame 1 and actuates a robotic link 6 configured with a cotton bud 7 assembled on frame 1 for cleaning determined blood stain."
