MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018888 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'adjustable resting assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ashok Kumar; and Aishwary Awasthi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adjustable resting assistive device, comprising a wearable body 1 developed to be equipped by a user around neck portion, a weight sensor installed on front portion for detecting placement of user's head on front portion, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on body 1 for capturing and determining positioning and size of user's head, a computing unit installed with a user interface, associated with device for enabling user to input details regarding a pattern that is to be displayed on body 1 along with type of massaging, an odor sensor installed on body 1 for detecting any foul smell in vicinity to body 1, and an electronic nozzle 4 attached with a chamber 5 for dispensing de-odorizing solution around body 1 to eliminate detected smell."
