MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019422 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'adjustable safe operation-based vacuum cleaner holding device.'

Inventor(s) include Neeraj Kaushik.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable safe operation-based vacuum cleaner holding device, comprising a platform 1 configured with multiple rods 2 to support the platform 1 over a ground surface, a motorized wheel 3 attached with each of the rods 2 for translating the platform 1, an imaging unit 4 mounted on the platform 1 determining presence of a vacuum cleaner in vicinity to the platform 1, a telescopically operated gripper 5 assembled on the platform 1 for gripping head portion of a vacuum cleaner, a C-shaped holding unit 6 attached with the gripper 5 for clamping a vacuum tube of the vacuum cleaner, a dust sensor 7 installed on the platform 1 detecting presence of dust, an acoustic sensor 8 installed on the platform 1 determining presence of per and a speaker 9 assembled on the platform 1 notifying people regarding presence of pet near the vacuum cleaner."
