MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020673 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adjustable seating device for four-wheeler vehicles.'
Inventor(s) include Mamta Bansal; Nidhi Tyagi; Arun Kumar Giri; and Avinav Pathak.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable seating device for four-wheeler vehicles, comprising a L-shaped frame 1 positioned on a seat by four suction units 2, two ultrasonic sensors mapped on frame 1 which measures dimensions of seat and accordingly a drawer arrangement extends/retracts for properly accommodating frame 1 on seat, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 installed on frame 1 which detects positioning of toddler over frame 1, a cushioning layer 3 is fabricated on frame 1 by means of four electromagnetically powdered springs 4 over which a user places toddler, a motorized roller 6 coiled with a looped strap 7 arranged on frame 1 and the roller 6 rotates for tightening/loosening strap 7 to secure toddler, a microphone 8 records voice of toddler, if toddler cries then a holographic projector 9 which is arranged on frame 1 projects video for calming toddler and springs 4 starts expanding/contracting for making cradle movement."
