MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012496 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'adjustable seating device for two-wheelers.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable seating device for two-wheelers comprises of a frame 1 having a plate 2 installed in proximity to front seat of a two-wheeler in a manner that a user is partially in contact with plate 2 while being accommodated on front seat, multiple suction units 3 for adhering frame 1 on two-wheeler, an imaging unit 4 for determining positioning of user with respect to frame 1, a cushioned flap 5 attached with multiple motorized hinges 6 that orients flap 5 in a manner that inner thighs of user rests on flap 5 to absorb jerks experienced to prevent user from experiencing jerks, an impact sensor for monitoring intensity of jerk experienced on frame 1 and a supporting member 7 to get deployed in an upward direction for orienting a support in front of user in order to prevent sudden forward bending of user due to jerk."
