MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010813 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 16, 2024, for 'adjustable skateboard storage device.'

Inventor(s) include Neeraj Kaushik.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable skateboard storage device, comprising a frame 1 having a pair of extendable sliders 2 vertically positioned on ground surface, a T-shaped bracket 3 is integrated underneath sliders 2 for supporting frame 1, four U-shaped rods 4 horizontally arranged on sliders 2 over which skateboards are accommodated, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 for detecting dimensions of skateboard and sliders 2 translates rods 4 to maintain appropriate gap, a drawer arrangement to extend/retract rods 4 to accommodate entire skateboard, an electromagnetic block integrated underneath each of rods 4 adhere skateboard with rods 4, a corrosion detection and dust detection sensor for monitoring presence of rust and dust on skateboard respectively, an electronically controlled nozzle 6 for sprinkling anti-rust solution on skateboard to solubilize rust, a telescopically operated L-shaped link 8 positions a wiping plate 9 on rust/dust, a motorized pivot joint 10 to rotate plate 9 to rub skateboards."
