MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018188 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'adjustable soap storage device.'

Inventor(s) include Vishnu Prasad Shrivastava.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable soap storage device, comprising a frame 1developed to be positioned on a wall, a pair of vertical plates 2 for accommodating flaps 3, flaps 3 for accommodating different soaps in a segregated manner, an AI-based imaging unit 4 for capturing multiple images of the flaps 3, clamping units 5 to extend/retract for accommodating soap on the flap, motorized sliding unit 6 to translate links to acquire grip over the soap, concave depression 7 for collecting water dripped from the soaps, suction unit 8 for extracting dripped water, motorized air blowers 9 to dry the soaps, a robotic arm 10 for gripping the soap, a container 11 to collect small-sized soaps, a motorized stirrer 12 to rotate shredding pieces of the stored soaps and a motorized ball and socket joint to rotate the soaps towards the blowers to pace up the drying time of the soap."
