MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441014220 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'adjustable stuck vehicle rescue assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable stuck vehicle rescue assistive device, comprises of a pair of circular frames 1 developed to be installed on a wheels of a stuck vehicle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for determining the dimensions of the wheel, an expandable pulley arrangement 3 for altering the dimensions of the frames 1, a motorized hinge joint 9 for tilting the clamps 10 in a manner to acquire a grip over the periphery of the wheels, a winch 5 coiled with a rope that is engaged with the auxiliary support present in vicinity of the stuck vehicle, a motor to rotate in pre-defined direction which in turn wraps the rope on the winch 5, an electronically controlled nozzle 6 connected with a water reservoir 7 for dispensing water on the ground surface, and plurality of electromagnets 8 for adhering the clamps 10 with the wheels."
