MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020748 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adjustable surface cleaning assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable surface cleaning assistive device, comprising an elongated body 1 design to positioned on the body 1 with proximal and distal end, wherein the handle 2 to move multiple of plates 4, telescopic link 3 that provides extension to body 1, each plate 4 equipped with a fabric-bristles 5 for cleaning surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 for capturing multiple images of surface, the plurality of primary motorized hinge7 for orientation of the plates 4 in a manner to provide extension to the plate, a microphone 8 to receive voice command of the user, the plurality of secondary motorized for extending shape of the body 1, a dust sensor for monitor presence of dirt over surface, a laser projector 10 for projecting laser light over surface, a motorized scrubbing disc 11 for scrubbing the detected dirt and stains, an electronic nozzle 12 configured with a water reservoir 13 for dispensing a regulated amount of water."
