MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441014208 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'adjustable wall cleaning device for high-rise buildings.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Hariprasad V.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable wall cleaning device for high-rise buildings comprises of an elongated body 1 having a proximal and distal end, the proximal end is installed with a handle 2 for acquiring a grip over the body 1 in proximity to a wall which is to be cleaned, an imaging unit 3 to determine any contaminant including dust and stain, scrapes on the wall, a linear actuator 4 to extend/retract for positioning the distal end in proximity to the contaminant, a plate 5 to provide angular movement to the plate 5, an extendable flap 7 for collecting extracted scrape, suction units for extracting and storing the collected scrape into a storage chamber, an electronically controlled nozzle 9 to dispense the cleaning agent on the wall for solubilizing stains present on wall, and an air blower 10 to blow pressurized air towards the dust, in case the contaminant corresponds to dust."
