MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010731 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'adjustable wristlet securing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable wristlet securing device, comprising a hollow cylindrical frame 1 configured with a pair of detachable bodies 2, 3 which are developed to be utilized by user for inserting a wristlet in frame 1, a drawer arrangement integrated with each of bodies 2, 3 to retract for decreasing diameter of bodies 2, 3, a camera 5 positioned on frame 1 for capturing multiple images of surrounding of frame 1, multiple motorized wheels 6 arranged at inner periphery of bodies 2, 3 to rotate for maneuvering bodies 2, 3 on wristlet, an electromagnetic hook 8 attached at body 2 to get energized for adhering hook 8 with loop 9, an electronic valve 10 configured with chamber 11 installed within one of body 2 for dispensing a sunscreen on user's hand and a speaker installed on frame 1 for notifying user to seek help from a medical professional."
