MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311085900 A) filed by Udeesha Singh; and Devansh Tiwari, New Delhi, on Dec. 15, 2023, for 'advanced ai-based healthcare initiative for nurturing safety and assistance.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system to enhance safety and operational efficiency of healthcare professionals comprises a user interface (11) to facilitate registration of hospital staff working on a particular patient care station. A microphone access module (12), connected with the user interface (11), is provided to capture unusual voice of an individual and send equivalent signals to a speech recognition/ abuse detection module (14) provided to recognize unusual voice in a real time manner and send equivalent signals to an emergency alert module (15) provided to raise alarm. A location tracking module (13), connected with the user interface (11), is provided to capture geographical location of the healthcare professionals and send equivalent signals emergency alert module (15) provided to indicate real time location. The emergency alert module (15) generates and transmits alerts to security personnels upon detecting unusual voice along with location of occurrence so as to provided security to the healthcare professionals. A triage categorization module (16) connected with the user interface (11) is provided to prioritize patients based on severity of conditions and categorizing the patient's condition as critical, urgent or stable to assist healthcare workers in efficient patent management."
