MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013262 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'advanced aluminum conductor steel reinforced cable assembling device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An advanced aluminum conductor steel reinforced cable assembling device comprises of a hollow body 1 associated with the device to be accommodated around a core wrapped with multiple conducting wires, artificial intelligence-based camera 2, along with ultrasonic sensor installed over body 1 for determining the diameter measurement of the core, motorized clamps 3 attached at inner periphery of body 1 clasp wires individually, motorized circular slider 4 fabricated at inner periphery to rotate clamps 3, motorized wheels 5 attached at inner periphery to move the body 1 over core, angle sensor installed over body 1 to determine angle of twisting of wires, laser based sensor installed over body 1 to determine thickness of wire, audio unit 6 installed over body 1 to provide voice alert to user upon twisting of wires throughout core, display panel 7 attached over body 1 to display percentage of current stored within battery."
