MUMBAI, India, Jan. 3 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511103896 A) filed by Sooryauday Aerial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, on Oct. 28, 2025, for 'aerial payload transportation system.'
Inventor(s) include Yash Kumar Singh Jadon.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An aerial payload transportation system, comprises a plurality of UAVs 101 operating as a dynamic swarm with one selectable leader, each equipped with a flight controller to control flight, altitude, and transmit telemetry. A payload calculation module at the ground control station determines the minimum UAVs 101 required, assigns leader and follower roles, and selects an optimal formation. A diagnostic module ensures operational readiness, while an attachment means 102 secures the payload 201. A resilient mesh communication network enables peer-to-peer data exchange. Path planning module and synchronized take-off module define routes and initiate coordinated lift. sensing unit 103 monitor UAV 101 position, velocity, and payload 201 load. Leader and follower control modules manage formation, payload 201 equilibrium, obstacle detection, failover, and landing, with health and fault monitoring ensuring mission reliability."
