MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010125 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'agility training device for pet.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An agility training device for pet, comprises of a platform 1 utilize to position on a ground surface within an enclosure, a camera 2 is mounted on the platform 1 for capturing multiple real-time images of surrounding of the platform 1, at least four wheels 3 installed underneath the platform 1 to maneuver platform 1, a robotic arm 4 mounted on the platform 1 for fetching ball from a chamber 5 positioned on the platform 1 and throwing the ball at a distance as a means of encouraging the pet to retrieve the ball in order to conduct agility training, a box 7 sored with pet food installed on the platform 1 for accessing the food to the pet, and an iris opening 8 fabricated on the box 7 to open, and an extendable pusher 9 arranged within the box 7 to extend for dispensing pet food."
