MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311084006 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 8, 2023, for 'agricultural farm management device.'

Inventor(s) include Anikate Kumar; Vikasdeep Mann; and Pradeep Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An agricultural farm management device, comprises of a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a farm field grown with plants, multiple wheels 2 configured underneath the body 1 to maneuver body 1 on the farm, a camera 3 to detect presence of weed/farm produce in the farm field, a pair of telescopically operated grippers 5 to pluck the weed/produce and position in different chambers 4 segregate manner, a computing unit accessed by the user to input command for cutting of the grass, a blade 6 configured with an L-shaped link 7 to cut the grass that is collected over a flap, an acoustic sensor to detect pest on plants, an electronic sprayer 8 to dispense pesticide solution on the plants, a weight sensor to detect collected produce's weight in chamber and a motorized door 10 to open and enable the user to collect the produce."
