MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611024520 A) filed by Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 2, for 'ai and machine learning platform for adaptive control and optimization of electrical power systems.'
Inventor(s) include Amit Kumar; Shubham Tyagi; and Dr. S. C. Tiwari.
The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in Electrical Engineering to enhance system intelligence, automation, efficiency, and reliability through data-driven decision-making. The system collects data from electrical components such as sensors, grids, machines, and smart meters, which is pre-processed and supplied to machine learning algorithms for predictive maintenance, fault detection, load forecasting, and energy optimization. The trained models are embedded into electrical control systems, enabling real-time monitoring, adaptive control, and self-learning behaviour. The invention further supports applications in smart grids, renewable energy integration, electric vehicles, and industrial automation. By predicting failures early, optimizing energy use, and responding dynamically to varying conditions, the invention provides a transformative framework for building smarter, sustainable, and highly reliable electrical infrastructures across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors."
