MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621011115 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Feb. 2, for 'ai-based multi-modal interview preparation system with integrated code execution, text evaluation, and speech analysis.'
Inventor(s) include Prof. Rohit Pawar; Abhishek Wekhande; Shaikh Tauhid; and Tanay Yaduka.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an AI-based multi-modal interview preparation system (100) comprising a user interface module (110), an API gateway module (120), a code execution sandbox module (130), a text evaluation module (140), a speech evaluation module (150), a database and storage module (160), an analytics and feedback module (170), and an authentication module (180). The system integrates secure containerized code execution using Docker-based isolation, transformer-based semantic text evaluation utilizing sentence embeddings from models such as SBERT and MPNet combined with XGBoost regression for scoring, and automatic speech recognition using Whisper ASR with prosodic analysis for verbal communication assessment. The score aggregation unit (172) consolidates multi-modal evaluation results using configurable weighted aggregation to compute composite interview scores. The system generates personalized feedback and study recommendations through weak-topic identification, enabling comprehensive interview preparation that closely simulates real-world technical assessment scenarios."
