According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system for generating medical reports from diagnostic images. The system includes a visual-language model configured to process diagnostic medical images and generate corresponding textual descriptions, wherein the visual-language model is trained on medical imaging datasets comprising annotated image-text pairs. The system further includes an input interface configured to receive diagnostic medical images, and a report generation component configured to synthesize the textual descriptions into structured medical reports. The visual-language model comprises a BLIP model or LLaVA model fine-tuned on medical imaging datasets. The diagnostic medical images comprise chest X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and dental radiographs. The system includes an image preprocessing module configured to validate images, convert to standardized format, and perform quality checks. A document formatting module converts reports into PDF documents, and a web-based interface facilitates image upload and provides report access."
