MUMBAI, India, Jan. 3 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511103616 A) filed by Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 28, 2025, for 'ai tool ecosystem with on-demand cloud gpu rental and investor revenue model.'
Inventor(s) include S Nikhil; and Dr. Usha Jain.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a web-based platform designed to streamline the access and utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools. The platform functions as a centralized hub, similar to an app store, ;. This enables developers and users to access a wide range of AI tools without the need to download or manage them individually. The platform supports execution of tools on remote servers, leveraging cloud-based GPU resources to minimize hardware costs while providing high-performance computational power. Additionally, the platform offers cloud GPU rental services to developers and businesses, enabling them to access scalable, cost-effective computing resources for AI and ML workloads. A key feature of this platform is a unique investment model where users can purchase GPUs within the platform's server infrastructure, thereby enabling individuals to earn monthly rental income from their investment. This "GPU stock market" allow participants to monetize their investments by renting out GPU resources, providing a decentralized and innovative financial opportunity. This solution addresses the fragmented nature of AI tools and offers a unified, efficient system for tool discovery, execution, resource management, and investment in computational power."
