MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013472 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'air conditioning device.'
Inventor(s) include Pramod Vishwakarma.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An air conditioning device encompasses a window air conditioner installed within an enclosure and having a body 1, air compressor, condenser coil, expansion valve, evaporator coil, and air blower, characterized in that a camera 2 mounted on body 1 for detecting locations of user, a flap 4 configured on body 1 and directed by a DC electric motor to channel cold air from blower toward users, a weather module integrated within an inbuilt microcontroller for determining a desired enclosure temperature, enabling the air compressor to maintain the desired temperature, a temperature sensor 5 on body 1 monitors the enclosure's temperature and accordingly the microcontroller maintains the specified temperature, ensuring user comfort."
