MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013039 A) filed by Perumalsamy Ayyappan, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'air-conditioning with no air-conditioner.'
Inventor(s) include Perumalsamy Ayyappan.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Room temperature can be brought down markedly Electricity cost of air conditioning cost can be avoided. No Hydrofluorocarbons emission from ACs. It can be installed in houses, factories, ships, trains and cars. In winter & cold seasons the fan can emit hot air. Heat dissipation moves heat away from its source and into the surrounding environment. The metals with the highest thermal conductivity are copper and aluminium. The lowest are steel and bronze. In all cases, heat is transferred from the hot electronic device to another medium that is at a lower temperature. WAYS TO MAKE THE ROOM COOLER l) Air-Conditioning the houses with Eco-coolers in windows 2) An exhaust fan on the upper part of wall to remove hot air. 3) Dehumidifier dry out the air in room & reduces moisture that supports heat & make the rooms cooler 4) HEPA filter at inlet grid to filter airborne particles & bacteria An coo-cooler with above 4 insights can be fitted in a house, car, train & ship. In moving vehicles air is sucked in faster. Air inside the vehicle can have an exit in the rear side of car Eco-coolers do not require any energy for its operation. Air conditioners require lots of energy to function properly. ACs are fuelled by electricity & use refrigerant that results in emissions causing global warming & Ozone layer depletion. Studies predict that by 2050, 25 % of global warming will be caused by ACs."
