MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059644 A) filed by Zhuzhou Crrc Times Electric Co. Ltd., Hunan, China, on June 21, for 'air duct series type integrated cooling system and control method therefor.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An air duct series type integrated cooling system and a control method therefor, which relate to the technical field of traction system cooling. The integrated cooling system comprises: a first electric motor heat exchanger, a first converter heat exchanger, a first water pump, a second water pump and a fan, wherein the first electric motor heat exchanger and the first converter heat exchanger respectively perform heat dissipation of a traction electric motor and a traction converter by means of respective water cooling pipelines, the first electric motor heat exchanger and the first converter heat exchanger are arranged in parallel, and a ventilation duct of the first electric motor heat exchanger and a ventilation duct of the first converter heat exchanger are coupled in series; the first water pump is arranged on the water cooling pipeline, which is connected to the first electric motor heat exchanger; the second water pump is arranged on the water cooling pipeline, which is connected to the first converter heat exchanger; and heat dissipation cooling is performed on the first electric motor heat exchanger and the first converter heat exchanger by using the fan."
