MUMBAI, India, Jan. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202417067933 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 9, 2024, for 'all-solid-state battery and method for manufacturing same.'

Inventor(s) include Lee, Jaegil; and Lee, Dong Chan.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 31, under issue no. 05/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an all-solid-state battery and a method for manufacturing same and, more specifically, to an all-solid-state battery and a method for manufacturing same, in which, when an anode active material layer including an anode active material that is alloyable with lithium or forms a compound with lithium is introduced into an anode of an all-solid-state battery in which the anode, a solid electrolyte layer, and a cathode are sequentially stacked, and then is pre-lithiated, the Coulombic efficiency of the anode is increased, resulting in increased battery capacity."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/018037.
